ABOUT THE CHOIR

Ambitious Early Music Choir

We will explore the wonderful music from the Medieval, Renaissance and Early Baroque repertoire. In future years we will have 3-4 concerts per year, but for the first year (22/23) we will aim for a concert in late Feb/early March, and a summer concert. We will avoid the main concert season as a lot of us perform with different groups, and numbers are important in smaller choirs.
The number of members will be hard-capped at 30, but 20-28 is ideal, depending on the make-up of the choir and the repertoire chosen.
All members will be auditioned before joining formally, but testing out the choir for 1/2 weeks should be possible.
